HCL Technologies Intends To Acquire Leading Australian IT Solutions Provider DWS Limited

HCLDWSThe leading global technology solution provider, HCL Technologies announced today that it intends to acquire DWS Limited (ASX:DWS). DWS is a leading Australian IT, business and management consulting group. With the evolving IT industry and demands for the digital strategies, DWS offers services with 700+ employees and offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra, to a whopping number of customers in the verticals of business and technology.

DWS Group has FY20 revenue at A$ 167.9 million by delivering to the requirements of IT services that include Digital Transformation, Application development & support, Program & Project Management and Consulting. HCL’s DWS acquisition is significant to HCL’s contribution to Digital initiatives in Australia and New Zealand, in addition to creating a strong customer-base in important industries.

HCL, at present has 1600 people, working in major Australian cities like Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Over the years, HCL is solving ground-breaking technology problems for the aforesaid regions’ renowned companies. HCL is looking ahead for strengthening its unique delivery model and differentiated offerings in Australia. The acquisition is predicted to end in December 2020, with subject to closing conditions, including approvals of regulatory boards.
